There are a handful of reviews on the App Store mentioning this, but other places don't seem to have many reports of this at all. I'm wondering if anyone else is having these issues, as I'm not able to find much info. The lecture recording feature is invaluable, and GoodNotes doesn't cut it in terms of being able to follow my past lectures. It's scary how dependent my workflow can be upon the functionality of software I can't downgrade or fix myself. Despite both of these being tried, the problems still exist. I've been in contact with support, and they suggested I reinstall the app and perform a soft reset in iPadOS. This gap might even get bigger because Notability just released an update decreasing the size of images in the app. Of course, this is an oversimplification but it’s still clear to see just how much bigger your notes are in GoodNotes. It has also just crashed when I am using it entirely as intended. On average, Notability creates a file of about 1.2 MB, but in GoodNotes the average sits at 23.1 MB. During the freezing, if I exit to another app or resize the split-screen window, the app crashes and can take up to two minutes to start again and get back into a note. Not only does the app freze at random intervals, it crashes as well. This is extremely frustrating, and I have missed important information because I'm literally unable to write it down. When using the app, every 30 minutes or so, the app will be entirely unresponsive for anywhere from 20-60 seconds. Over the past few weeks, I've been using Notability to record lectures while annotating PDFs on my first generation 12.9" iPad Pro.
